This 1-day conference aims to encourage and inspire innovation and leadership in medicine, patient care and academia, as well as celebrate the ‘Change Makers’ who have who have lead change in their respective areas of Medicine..

This conference will attract medical students, researchers, healthcare leaders and doctors of African and Caribbean heritage from all over the United Kingdom. It will feature keynote speakers on innovation, leadership, research and quality improvement in medicine, as well as workshops with practical guidance on how to curate their medical careers.

This will focus on what it looks like to proactively initiate and achieve change and also experience positive change within their respective careers and work environments. An innovative workforce delivers better outcomes for patients and this conference will offer strategies to make positive change for the benefit of patient outcomes, workplace environments and the workforce.

​

Attendees will have the opportunity to present their work in Quality Improvement, audits and other projects with the awarding of prizes.
