We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Envision Research Summer School, taking place from 19th–22nd August 2025. This free programme is designed for young people aged 16–17 from Black and underrepresented backgrounds, particularly those considering careers in medicine, STEMM, or scientific research.

Over the course of three virtual days and one in-person day at the University of Cambridge, participants will take part in an immersive group research project exploring real-world health inequalities. With the support of medical student mentors and expert facilitators, students will gain hands-on experience in research, develop critical thinking and public speaking skills, and present their findings in a university setting.

The programme also includes talks from leading academics and doctors, mentoring support, and the opportunity to connect with other aspiring medics from across the UK.

Date: 19–21 August (virtual) + 22 August (Cambridge visit)

Cost: Free to attend

Eligibility: Students aged 16–17 from Black or underrepresented backgrounds
