We are thrilled to announce the publication of the Enrichment Programme Evaluation Report.
We are thrilled to announce the publication of the Enrichment Programme Evaluation Report. This report highlights the impact of our 10-month development initiative for final year Black African and Caribbean medical students in the UK.
Transitioning from medical student to Foundation Year 1 doctor is a significant challenge, and our programme was designed to build career confidence, readiness, and advancement through one-to-one mentoring, peer networks, and accessible resources. The evaluation of two cohorts showed that mentoring played a pivotal role in enhancing preparedness, providing valuable career insights, and fostering supportive connections.
This report not only celebrates the successes of the programme but also identifies further opportunities to support students in their transition to FY1 roles. We are committed to exploring and addressing the unique challenges faced by Black African and Caribbean medical students.
