Melanin Medics provide a wide range of Equality and Diversity workshops to enable medical students and doctors to better understand and support colleagues and patients from diverse backgrounds. We offer highly-informative sessions and provide in-depth and personal learning opportunities for participants, which are delivered by skilled facilitators who are both passionate and knowledgable on the subject areas.. Our workshops are based on collective experiences and underpinned by evidence-based practice and relevant theory.
Promoting diversity in Medicine ​

One of our missions at Melanin Medics is to 'Promote Diversity in Medicine'. We believe that it is important for all current and future doctors to recognise and understand the impact of racial inequality in Medicine. Tackling racial inequality requires both individual and collective action, recognising biases and taking steps to support others. Our workshops provide innovative ways to foster critical conversations and understanding about inequality and difference and further provides actionable strategies and tools that individuals can use to advocate for themselves, patients, colleagues and others.
