I trained as a doctor in Yaounde Cameroon where I grew up. I moved to the UK after my medical degree and started surgical training after passing the PLAB test. I chose to specialise in otolaryngology and my training was undertaken full time while raising my two kids. I have been a consultant ENT surgeon for the past 15 years and despite all the challenges, I believe it is such a privilege to be able to interact with my patients and colleagues. I love my job and I enjoy the mentoring and training side of being a senior surgeon. I am also the current chairperson of CamDocUK Association of Cameroonian doctors in the UK .
