About The Event
We are excited to announce our upcoming Medical Students Conference ‘Medical School & Beyond’ - Exploring different Medicine Career Pathways hosted by the University of Birmingham African Caribbean Medics Society and Melanin Medics.
This full day conference is targeted at current African-Caribbean medical students who are interested in the different Medicine Career Pathways; no matter what year you are in, everyone is welcome! It is the perfect opportunity to learn how to succeed in the coming years ahead and to explore medical training and careers from an insider’s point of view.
The day will be filled with talks focusing on the various Medicine Career Pathways: Medicine, Surgery, General Practise, Entrepreneurship and Academia. Workshops and small group sessions discussing and advising on Intercalation & Electives, multiple opportunities to network and a Q&A Panel with our esteemed panel of doctors.
It promises to be an informative day and we can't wait to see you there.
